Skilled Administrative Support Professional with over 20 Years' Experience
My administration experience has come from a variety of industries, starting way back when at Norwich Union (now Aviva) in Group Personal Pensions. This was a local rite of passage for many school leavers in the area and gave a great insight to corporate life. Moving into hospitality, I worked my way up to management level and my own accommodation business, culminating with achieving 4* from Visit Britain within my first 6 months. The hospitality industry has made me very resilient and resourceful, as no two days or two people are the same. When you think you have seen or experienced it all, a new day brings fresh learning opportunities! It has taught me to be open-minded, quick thinking and to be un-phased at what can happen. When I settled in the North West UK with my partner, I moved away from hospitality and had several very enjoyable years as a temp' in all different industries including facilities, building and industrial hire. The last 6 years have been set within automotive engineering for one of the most iconic brands in the world, supporting guests and customers through to engineers and right up to board level.
All my roles I have enjoyed immensely, and I believe they have shaped me into a well-rounded assistant that can help you, your team and your business.
